2026 Tryouts
Important Tips for Tryouts!
Hello AAHA Families,
Tryout week is here! Below are a few important reminders to help things run smoothly:
- Please have your player arrive at least 30 minutes prior to their scheduled tryout session.
- Players should enter through the PWH RCC entrance.
- Upon arrival, players must check in at the table to receive their jersey and confirm attendance.
- Players will receive a jersey to wear for the tryout process that will be returned at the end of tryouts.
- Helmets should only display Cardinal stickers, please remove all others.
- Players should wear Cardinal hockey socks or all black socks.
- Tryouts are closed to all parents and relatives.
- Squirt parents only: If your player needs help tying skates or getting dressed, you must have your SafeSport and background check completed. If those are complete, you may assist but must leave the locker room 15 minutes before your player takes the ice.
- Tryout results will be posted no sooner than October 14 at 7:00 PM.
- Most importantly, tryouts can be stressful for players. Please do not add extra pressure or anxiety. Remind them that no matter what team they are placed on, they will have a great season, play the sport they love, and have your full support.
Thank you,
Cory Oberg
